Abby Fallen, RHIA, CHDA, CHPS
Abby received her Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from Temple University in 2010. She currently serves as the Senior Manager for the Regional Health Information Exchange (HIE) and is responsible for the information systems and data security initiatives at the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers in Camden, NJ. She has successfully obtained her credentials as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) and Certification in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS). Abby has previously held the role of Chair of Public Relations for SePHIMA.
Kim Felix, RHIA, CCS
Kim Felix has over 25 years of HIM coding experience including coder, auditor, manager, and educator. She currently is the Project Manager for Big Four RADV (Risk Adjustment Data Validation) audit and is working on an ICD-10 conversion project for an analytics software (SurgeonCheck LLC). Her management positions include Coding Supervisor, Interim HIM Director, and Lead Coder at various facilities including the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Jefferson Health (Lansdale Hospital) as well as over 10 years as Director of Coder Development for CIOX (previously IOD Incorporated/MECA).
Tami Montroy, MS, RHIA, CCS
Tami Montroy received her Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management & Systems from The Ohio State University and a Master of Science in Health Informatics from the University of Illinois, Chicago. She has over 20 years of experience in Health Information Management leadership and consulting roles with organizations such as The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, NYC Health and Hospital’s Corporation along with several others and currently is the Health Information leader at Drexel University College of Medicine. Tami has participated in several information governance, revenue cycle, as well as innovation and technology committees and taskforces at the local, state and national level in her career. She also served on the U.S. News and World Report, Best Children’s Hospitals survey development working group. She is a contributor to the Journal of AHIMA and has participated in various AHIMA volunteer groups such as the Health Information Exchange Practice Council and AHIMA Standards Task Force and is currently a member of the EHR Documentation Integrity Practice Council. Tami has served for the past 5 years on the Southeastern Pennsylvania Health Information Management Association Board of Directors and is currently the Past-President and Nominating Committee Chair of the Association.
Mandy Nash, RHIA
Mandy Nash currently works at the Trenton Health Team as a Health Information Exchange Program Manager. She graduated from Temple University's HIM program in 2013 and began her career in consulting. This is Mandy's first position in SePHIMA and she is looking forward to continually improving the member experience and collaborating with other HIM professionals
Alexandra Richards, MJ, RHIA
Alexa received her Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from Temple University in 2012, and a Masters of Jurisprudence in Health Law with certificate in Global Compliance and Ethics from Widener University School of Law in 2015. She has been with GlaxoSmithKline since 2012, where she is currently an IT Project Manager supporting Clinical Applications. Alexa has previously held the position as President and Education Chair for SePHIMA and has held the position of Advocacy and Legislative Chair for PHIMA, which she is also currently serving.
